Idanre Hills

Attractions at The Hill The Steps: This is the first attraction, it has 682 steps and 5 resting points from the top to bottom. The first school: The first primary school in Idanre is also located on the hill. The school was built in 1896 and it is still in existence today. However, it is now a rusty place with no form of educational activity. The Ancient Palace: Another place to visit is Owa’s Palace. Before the city moved downhill, this city has its first palace here. This palace is dated as far back as the 17th century. The House of Lorin: Lorin is the custodian of Idanre The Arun River: This river is believed to have supernatural powers to heal various sicknesses and diseases.

Jos Wildlife Park

The Jos Wildlife Park features a rare and exotic collection of wild animals, reptiles, and birds; it was established in 1972 and extends into the pine forest and the Vongnifwel Hill. There are picnic centers within the park and a history museum that tells the story of the park and state. The Jos Zoological Garden on the other hand was established in 1957 and situated within Jos Metropolis, featuring a wide collection of wildlife for tourism purposes. And the Pandam Game Reserve and Lake in Quan-Pan is the best place for sports fishing and relaxation purposes at all festive periods. There are also several wildlife parks in the land of peace of tourism but the most popular are the Jos Wildlife Park, Jos Zoological Garden, and the Pandam Game Reserve and Lakes.  

Olumo Rock

Climb the legendary Olumo Rock famed as the founding site of Abeokuta. The climb This 137-meter rock is not a difficult climb. There are man-made stairs carved into the rock for a part of the climb and after that, you must climb areas with rocks as footholds along with some ladders that have been provided to aid you. On the way, you will find footprints of the early dwellers along with remnants of some of their belongings. You will also see shrines of their deities. The rock carvings and sculptures with cowries in them make the climb more interesting. Take a moment to admire these unique elements as you hike up the rock. The tourist-friendly destination also has a heavy-duty glass elevator for visitors who need it. Regardless of the way you get to the top, sweeping views of the area will greet you once you reach it.
